Residential Tinting
Today's residential solar control window films offer the homeowner an impressive array of technologies, which improves window efficiency by blocking 99.9% of the Sun's ultraviolet rays and rejecting up to 79% of the heat from sunlight, and eliminating glare. These films are designed to increase the "usability" of your home's natural lighting. By eliminating the negative features of natural light, your windows can be left uncovered and free of window treatments that interfere with your view, without the worries of outrageous cooling costs and faded furniture and carpeting.
Our previous residential customers report that they are saving as much as 32% on their electric bill after we treated their windows, certainly a dramatic example of savings, but representative of payback projections.
RWT offers free on-site consultations to help assess your particular exposure concerns. Because every homeowner has individual tastes and needs. We offer a wide variety of films ranging from light (where fading concerns are the primary solar problem being experienced) to Frosted (for privacy) or heavily tinted (for both privacy and extreme sunlight exposure problems).

Commercial Tinting
Commercial application often presents unique solar challenges. If you have a retail store and the display merchandise being ruined (fading) by direct ultraviolet sunlight, or you own a bar or restaurant and would like to darken your windows for ambiance, or you want greater protection against "smash and grab" theft, we can help you select the window film that's perfect for your business.
Over the years we have applied virtually every type of film on the windows of businesses in and around Sydney. Homes and business have its own specific needs of window tinting. Typically, the financial bottom-line is also a motivating factor in a window film purchase. "Is this going to save us money?" The answer is a resounding "Yes!” Energy savings alone can achieve true payback in a relatively short time and the increased life span of carpeting, merchandise, art, and furnishings will further add to those savings.
Window films can also satisfy certain code requirements according to building codes in our area. Tempered glass is required in all windows which have close proximity to floors (for example, sliding glass doors) or in "slip-prone areas", such as bathrooms. Our 4mm safety/security films brings ordinary plate (or annealed) glass up to tempered glass [ANSI Z97.1] code for "break safe" characteristics. Of course, we supply all of the necessary documentation to demonstrate code satisfaction that building inspectors will require. Savings of both time and cost for contractors can be huge. This also demonstrates to home and business owners just how effective these safety films work.
